About Me
As Partner and a member of our intellectual property team based in Munich, I provide advice on technical property rights, particularly in the technical fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical products.
I advise and represent clients in the field of technical property rights, in particular in inter partes proceedings at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Patent Office and the German courts responsible for patent infringement and nullity proceedings. Work highlights include major cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Unified Patent Court (which opened doors in June 2023).The focus of my practice is on the technical fields of biotechnology, medical products and pharmaceuticals. Further, i also have experience working as a scientist for a pharmaceutical company, where I was involved in the development of a novel antibody format for therapeutic or diagnostic use.
Moreover, I advise clients regarding supplementary protection certificates and compulsory licenses.

- Internship at an agrochemical company and at the Dartmouth College Medical School (USA)
- PhD studies at the MRC Centre for Protein Engineering of the University of Cambridge with a thesis on the biophysical characterisation of the interaction between p53 and S100 proteins
